Dear students:
Summer vacations of 2021 will begin from July 10th until September 3rd. The classes for next semester will begin from September 6th. The time of return to school is September 4th and 5th. We hope you have a safe, resourceful and happy vacation.
Important
All international students must complywith Chinese laws and regulations in addition to our university’s regulationsand rules. Violation of national laws and regulations will result in legalpenalties from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice, andalso punishment (from warning to expulsion from school) given by Beibu GulfUniversity. Special attention should be paid to cases such as illegal workingwith student visa, expired visas, unruly behavior due to alcohol, anddisturbing the peace when staying off campus. Students who need to ask for leave must complete the absence procedures in strict accordance with CIS regulations and receiving permission from relevant teachers and departments.
Pay attention to the safety of using electricity. Donot use the prohibited or high-volume electrical appliances, such as digitalkettle, electric blanket, electric stove, and so on. Do not change theelectricity wires or structure without any permission. If ones find unusualsituation in wires, please report to the reception desk in the dormitory! CISwill carry out safety check in dormitories irregularly during the summervocation.
Traffic and travel safety. Please abide with alltraffic regulations and pay close attention to traffic safety. Driving cars without Chinese driving license is extremely prohibited. Do not ride ridinge-bicycles and motorcycles. Violators shall be responsible for any consequence arising therefrom. When riding bicycles, do not overspeed or overload, and also do not go against traffic or run red lights.
International students who live outside of the campus must register in local police station within 24 hours of arrival at destination, in case of being punished for illegal residence.
Students should only participate inreligious activities at lawfully registered Buddhist monasteries, Taoisttemples, mosques, churches within Chinese territory. Do not organize orparticipate in any illegal assembly, rally, campaign, or protests. And, do notengage in religious activities in the dorm and public areas.
Internationalstudents should not go to cities in high or medium risk of epidemic situation.If the place they located has changed into high/medium risk of epidemic, theyhave to report to head teachers and advisors, then wait for their instructions.
International students who stay on campusmust strictly abide by the school rules and regulations. Go out by climbing the wall, loud noise disturbing, high-rise littering，barbecue on campus, fishing on campus and other behaviors that violating the rule ofschools are extremely prohibited.
If the position has changed, students must report to Advisor and Head Teacher immediately.
